ARE SCANNED DOCUMENTS LEGALLY ACCEPTED FOR ADMISSION IN COURT?
The Uniform Rules of Evidence US 128-0060-00 to 0170-001 clearly establishes the basis for admitting records that are maintained on document imaging systems into evidence.
These laws admit any duplicate of records into evidence provided they accurately duplicate the originals.
Electronic imaging technology (document imaging) is a duplication reproduction technique, exhibiting the same characteristics as a photocopy, microfilm, legally acceptable for admitting as evidence.
WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR FILES AFTER THEY ARE SCANNED?
North West Imaging Technology will return your documents to you for your choice of storage,or destruction.
There will be an additional fee for documents needing to be reassembled to their original formation.
Your company's documents, or home files will be handled with complete security and confidentiality.
Only North West Imaging Technology's personnel will pick up, handle and secure any files, whether
hard copies or digitally converted copies.
